Obituary

Andreoni, Elsie “Lil”, 93, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord, April 15, 2016 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born February 21, 1923, Sao Paulo, Brazil, daughter of the late Joseph and Santina (Surano) Andreoni. Preceded in death by brothers, Lester and John Andreoni. Survived by nieces, Deborah Wishneff and Laura Fortino; nephews, Jeffrey Andreoni; Michael Andreoni; and Thomas Andreoni, all of Florida; first cousin, Lucy Mastrocola, New York; and numerous cousins of the Gironda family. Elsie was a former employee of the Corner Drug Store, Fairfield Ave., for over 50 years. Friends will be received, Tuesday, April 19th from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Procession to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 120 Barron Ave., with mass at 10 a.m., Fr. Anthony Francis Spilka, OFMConv, officiating. Committal Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church.
