Obituary

Harkleroad, Emma Jane, 91, Johnstown, passed away December 30, 2016 at home.  Born December 28, 1925 to the late William and Jessie Lee. Preceded in death by her husband Jasper W. Harkleroad; son, James Hritz; daughter Dolores Naylor, siblings, Robert Lee, James Lee, Leona Harris, Myra Jones, and Helen Naylor. Survived by her children, Junior Hritz, Nevada; Jasper Harkleroad, Johnstown; Alice Harkleroad, Johnstown; Ronald Harkleroad, Nevada; Maxine Varmecky, Johnstown; Grandaughter Tanya McClafferty, and 12 other grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Emma worked in Customer Service for Goodwill Industries for many years, she loved going to Bar Bingo at the CFU in Cambria City, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and playing cards, especially Penny Ante. At her request there will be no visitation.
