Obituary

ORNER – Florence Roberta, 90, Johnstown, died April 18, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Oct. 20, 1918 in Hooversville, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Watkins) Yoder. Preceded in death by husband of 61 years, James W. Orner, sisters Marie (Yoder) Rager and Minnie (Yoder) Gilbee and brother Lester Yoder. Survived by daughter Sharon Orner; son Barry Orner; daughter-in-law Karen (Mikas) Orner and granddaughter Debra Marie Orner. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Monday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., where service will be held at 11am. Rev. Kyle Cannon, officiating. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Medical Center, Palliative Care Unit.
