Miles, Gerald T., 82, Johnstown, passed away May 19, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 7, 1937 in Johnstown. Son of the late William and Anna C. (Hohman) Miles. Preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Rosella Miles; his first wife, Nancy (Miller); step-son, David Larison; siblings, William Miles, Diana Smith, Mary Catherine Toth, and Walter Miles; Survived by his wife of 33 years, Roberta J. (Roth); children, Deborah Miles, Donna Curcija (Randy), Rebecca Miles; step-children, Ellen Baker (Laverne), Frederick Larison (Nicole), Grace Devine (Michael); 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Pamela Sharp (Jay) Robert Miles, and Patricia Gonda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gerald served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was retired from Bethlehem Steel. Gerald enjoyed trips to the Russian club, watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, he also enjoyed watching Nascar, hunting, going to the gun range, and spending time with family. Services will be held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family.
