Obituary

YODER – Harry Kent Sr. 87, Hollsopple died August 16, 2010.
Born May 23, 1923 in Davidsville; son of the late Harry J. and Anne (Sala) Yoder. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Ashley Renae Yoder; sisters, Effie, Mary, and Alice Yoder; and brothers, William and Raymond Dean Yoder.

Survived by wife, Marian M. (Berkey), sons, Mark C. Yoder and wife Carolyn (Bloom), Hooversville; and Kent Yoder and wife Karen (Witeof), Windber. Also, brother, Bob Yoder, Hollsopple.

U.S. AirForce Veteran of WWII. Retired from U.S. Steel. Member of Ridge Church of the Brethren, where he was a Deacon, APC NWTW and Bluebird Society. He was an avid bowler, a Pittsburgh Pirates fan and a former Little League Coach. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and hunting for Ginseng.

Friends received 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Ridge Church of the Brethren, Pastor Chuck Statler, officiating.
