Obituary

RAYHA, James D. Sr., 64, Johnstown, died August 26, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 8, 1945 in Johnstown; son of the late Stephen Sr. and Nellie (Gresik) Rayha. Preceded in death by sister, Jennie, brothers, Joseph and Charles.

Survived by loving wife of 41 years, Janice (Sabo) Rayha; daughter, Kristi Marie married to Bradley Ansell; son, James Jr. married to Tara; grandsons, Kristopher, Jonah, Branden, Joshua, and Gavin. Also, brothers Stephen Jr. and William and wife, Eileen; sisters, Dorothy Tootsie Janakovic, Fran and Angie, all of Johnstown and Jeannie Steele, Edison, NJ; Nancy and husband Tom Gordon, Cairnbrook; sisters-in-law Terry Rayha, Sussex, NJ; Patricia Rayha, New Florence; many nieces and nephews.

Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and Veteran of PA National Guard. Jim was a loving husband, father, and Pappy. He will be missed by his special buddy, Angel. Memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Visitation B.V.M. church, Rev. Barry Baroni officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to family.
