Obituary

Rummel, James L., 75, Johnstown, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, February 2, 2023 at home. Born February 19, 1947. Son of the late Clifford and Mary Jane (Satzinger) Rummel. Preceded in death by brother, Clifford A. Rummel. Survived by loving wife of 51 years, Janet (Jovan) Rummel; daughters, Liana Daniels (Garth) of Thomas Mills and Lori Rummel who lives at home with Janet; grandchildren, Trinity, Samantha, and Ethan Daniels; and sister, Jayne Rummel of Ohio. James was a very involved member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in bible studies. He also liked to fish and bike. James served in the Army during the Vietnam War. James was a steel worker for U.S. Steel and worked for Dictaphone Corp. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, Pa 15902. A service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church Friday at 11 a.m., 425 Luther Rd, Johnstown, Pa 15904. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
