Obituary
Bouch, John F., “Fred”, 87, Johnstown, died June 7, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 30, 1925 in Avonmore, son of the late John G. and Grace (Long) Bouch. Preceded in death by wife, Rhoda Mae (Harrison) Bouch; son, Jay R. Bouch and brothers, George; Joe and Don and sisters Margaret and Lillian. Survived by son, Terry L., married to the former Bonnie Allison, Ebensburg; daughter, Cynthia, married to James Gossard, Johnstown; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Fred was a maintenance electrician for Bethlehem Steel Corp. Fred and Rhoda were snow birds in Florida for 27 years and served as deacons at Good Shephard Church of the Brethren in Bradenton, FL. They were both in the quilting group at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren and members of the Klaypyke Kampers Chapter of the FCRV for many years. Fred loved sports and enjoyed playing volleyball, which he played into his 70’s and also played washer toss. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Friends received from 2 to 6pm on Monday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. and from 10am until time of service at 11am Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Memorial Fund at the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Arrangements in care of the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.”
