Obituary

Gehosky, John, Richard, 73, Old Conemaugh Boro, died January 23, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 22, 1937 in Johnstown, son of the late John F. and Mary (Krupnak) Gehosky. Preceded in death by brother, Richard.

Survived by wife of 53 years Annette (Zahurak) Gehosky. Also survived by children, Terry married to Kirk McIntosh, Johnstown; Michael married to the former Tina Rager, Hollsopple; John E. Jr, La Jolla, CA and Kimberly, Johnstown grandchildren Chad and Tanner Gehosky; Josh, Tera and Sara McIntosh; Mike Gehosky and Mark, Christina and Laurie Gunter, sister Eleanor Gambelli, Norfolk, VA and brother Barry Gehosky, Johnstown. Also survived by special friends Richard Clark and Mark Pizzillo, among many others from the YMCA.

John was an active member of the YMCA, past member of the Moxham Polish National Alliance, the AmSlo Club and the Union Social, avid lottery lover, and played softball for various Johnstown Leagues (with a hell of an arm). John was employed at Bethlehem Steel for 38 years until his retirement in 1994.
