Faust and Nellie (Hobba) Faust Berkey. Preceded in death by wife, Janet A. (Raymond) Faust; sisters, Ann Nicholls; Thelma Stutzman; and Mildred Faust.

In his early years, Joe worked for the Johnstown Traction Company where he made some lifetime friendships. He also owned the Atlantic Service Station in Cambria City. He retired as a Tank Mechanic from the 103rd National Guard Armory. A US Army veteran, he proudly served in WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Korean Veteran Association of Johnstown; and the Johnstown Area Genealogical and Historical Society.
He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and a lover of the Lawrence Welk orchestra. Although his “golden years” were hindered by the loss of his eyesight and limited hearing, he continued to enjoy his days listening to the music of the 30s and 40s or listening to the great political debates on FoxNews. His memory was incredibly detailed and he loved to sit with family and friends, with pipe in hand, reminiscing about the “good old days”.
