Obituary

Thomas, Joseph E., 66, Latrobe, passed away Friday April 17, 2020, at The Grove-Latrobe. Born October 12, 1953 in Spangler, son of Gilbert and Dorothy (Pierce) Thomas.  Preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert, his sisters, Betty Elizabeth and Elizabeth Marie; his brother-in-law, Joseph Rhoa. Survived by his brother, David E. Thomas (Patricia), Hastings; his sister, Virginia S. Rhoa, Hastings; his sister-in-law, Karen Thomas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other members of extended family. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he was thoughtful, funny, happy, and although he fought many medical battles in life, he always managed to keep a positive perspective on life.  Due to the current circumstances, a memorial service for Joseph will be planned at a later date.
