Obituary

Mayerscik, Judith C. (Mauk), 78, Johnstown, passed away peacefully at home March 8, 2021. Born August 24, 1942, daughter of the late Charles and Claire (Guy) Mauk. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 57 years, James J. Mayerscik; son, James D. Mayerscik; and sister, Barbara Judd (George). Survived by loving daughter, Judith A. Pribulsky and son-in-law that she adored, Jeffrey Pribulsky, Springdale, PA; grandchildren, Cameron and Ryan Pribulsky; brother, Tim Mauk (Beth), Bloomsburg, PA; nephews, Kyle Mauk, St. Augustine, FL; Logan Mauk, Herndon, VA; Daniel Babik (Betsy), Grantville, PA; Stephen Babik (Karen), Hopkinton, RI; Kenneth Babik, Brownsburg, IN; Christopher Judd (Jacqulin), Brownsburg, IN; along with many cousins and friends. Judy was of the Catholic faith. She was a warm person that had so many talents. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. She loved working outside in her yard, was a great baker, a wonderful grandmother, and had a knack for making everything special. Judy worked for several years at Schrader’s Floral downtown and for over 25 years in the cafeteria at Johnstown Vocational-Technical School where she thoroughly enjoyed working with the students. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart, and she will be greatly missed. Inurnment will be held privately at Richland Mausoleum.
