Obituary

Magdalene M. Pompa, 96, passed away May 26, 2024, at HAIDA Manor in Hastings. Born October 26, 1927, in Barnesboro; the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Ripko) Andrews. Also preceded in death by husband, Charles Pompa. Survived by children, Diane (Gary) Easly, Hastings, and Dennis (Peggy) Pompa, Westover; grandchildren, Wesley (Alice) Easly, Lesley (Chris) Vrabel, Abigail Pompa (Brian Verbitskey), Andrew (Alison) Pompa, Matthew Kephart, Sylvia (Jeff) Stein, and Amanda (Jeff) Jones; 11 great grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. Services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 10 a.m., Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 811 Chestnut St., Northern Cambria, Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB,  officiating. Interment at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Northern Cambria or St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings.
