Obituary

Truscott, Marion E. (Wyatt), 95, passed away on January 22, 2025, at Forest Hills Personal Care Home in Sidman. Born July 21, 1929, in Surrey, England, daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Turner) Wyatt. Preceded in death by husband, Meade M. Truscott, who passed on July 2, 1993. Survived by loving children, Diana Croyle (David), Dawsonville, GA, Janet Loveridge (Bruce), Johnstown, PA, and Sherry Appley (Ronald), St. Michael, PA; 5 grandchildren, Scott Croyle (Emily), Jonathan Loveridge (Sarah), Jermey Loveridge, Sarah (Appley) Garman (Michael), and Brendan Appley (Noelle); 7 great-grandchildren, Olivia and Elizabeth Loveridge, Wyatt and Gavin Garman, Adaleena Croyle, and Jaxon and Lauryn Appley; brother-in-law, Arthur Truscott; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marion was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in South Fork. She was a devoted military wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family was her world. She enjoyed reading and knitting and always had a soft spot for her 4-legged family members. She will be truly missed by many. Friends and family will be received at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Rd., on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10:00am until the time of the memorial service at 11:30am.
