Obituary

Duncansville, PA – Mary K. Thomas, 86, of Duncansville, died on July 4, 2022 at home. Born December 4, 1935 in Hastings; she was a daughter of the late Steve “Skip” and Anna (Brenza) Kozub; also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kevin L. Thomas in July 2021; brother, Paul Kozub; sisters, Margaret Kozub and Helen (Kozub) Spahr; niece, Cheryl (Kozub) May. Survived by brother, Stephen “Skip” Kozub and wife Patty; sister, Sally Wharton and husband David; many nieces and nephews. Mary worked at many places when they lived in Ohio. She and Kevin retired back to Duncansville in 1991. They were members of St. Catherine of Siena Church. There will be no viewing. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday July 8, 2022 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 417 Elm Ln, Duncansville, Father Robert Saly, Celebrant. Burial will be private at St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings.
