Obituary

Andrews, Nancy Rae, 88, Johnstown, passed away February 3, 2024, at Heritage Ridge Senior Living in Westmont. Born March 10, 1935, to the late Millard and Grace (Wadsworth) Bracken. Preceded in death by husband, James A. Andrews; brother, Robert Bracken; and brother-in-law, Richard Hill. Survived by son, James R. Andrews and wife Melissa; grandchildren, James T. Andrews and wife Jessica; Katherine M. Andrews; great grandson, James Graden Andrews; sister, Marilyn Hill; nephew, Daniel Hill; and sister-in-law, Anne Bracken. Nancy graduated from Greater Johnstown High School, class of 1953 and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Johnstown. She held a part time position at Toy Ladies for many years and worked in the mail room at the Tribune Democrat. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and playing Pinochle. Above everything, Nancy enjoyed spending time with family, they were everything to her. A memorial service will be held Wednesday February 7th at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 309 Lincoln St., Johnstown, 15901. Reverend Hyiwot Teshome, officiating.
