Obituary

Olga B. Del Signore, 91, of Johnstown, died peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born on March 10, 1924 in Windber, she was the daughter of the late John and Esther (Sabo) Crisi. Also preceded in death by husband Louis A. Del Signore; brother, John Crisi; sister, Helen Hallick; son-in-law, John Nicholls. Survived by children, Jacqueline Nicholls, Canonsburg, PA; Deborah Hershberger and husband Jack, Pittsburgh, PA; Kathleen Cavanaugh and husband Leo, Ligonier, PA, Louis D. Del Signore and wife Linda (Helsel), Johnstown, PA; 9 grandchildren, Robert Nicholls, Nichelle (Dan) Conn, Jack C. (Jean) Hershberger, Brian (Denise) Hershberger, Todd Hershberger, Krista Lucchini, Ryan Cavanaugh, Kathleen (Robby) Robertson, Louis A. (Emily) Del Signore II; 12 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Olga was an accomplished seamstress at Jeanine’s Bridal Fashion’s for many years. She was also co-owner at Del’s Lounge and Del Signore’s Hotel. She was a member St. Benedict Parish, the ISDA, Red Hats Society, and YMCA. She also was a league bowler and enjoyed ceramics. Friends will be received Monday, August 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road. A Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St Benedict Church, 2310 Bedford Street, Johnstown. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
