Obituary

Meyers, Patricia (Stopko), 80, of Johnstown, PA, passed on April 8, 2025, at home after a five-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born March 16, 1945, in Windber, PA, and was the daughter of Walter, Sr. and Stella Stopko. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jason Meyers; her brother, Walter Stopko, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Louis Paulovich. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bob “Peck” Meyers; her sister, MaryAnn Paulovich of Virginia; her son Jason’s wife, Jessica (Ludwig), and boys, Gus and Max; her son, Chris and his wife Mandy (Sisson), and their daughters, Mary, Erin (Nick Peters), and Claire; son, Seth Meyers and his wife Julie (Kline), and their sons, Derek and Ben; nieces, Pat Rogers, Karen Soto, Susan Keaton; nephew, Louis Paulovich ; and lifelong friend of 75 years, Lois “Sis” Marshall of Warren, PA. A special thank you to great neighbors, Larry, Susan, Noah, Marley, and Zach. Pat and Linda “Pinky” Rhodes were co-presidents of the Arcadia Theater Guild of Windber. Pat wanted to thank all of the Guild members who worked to support the theater. To honor Pat’s request, there will be no viewing rather a small service will be held at a later date in May.
