Obituary

Carpenter, Paul Louis, 83, Johnstown, passed away March 5, 2024, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born October 2, 1940, to the late Paul and Angeline (Fontana) Carpenter. Preceded in death by first wife, Eileen (Aulbach) Carpenter. Survived by children, Antoinette M. Bridges and husband Bob; Angela Carpenter; and Paul A. Carpenter and wife Gina; siblings, Florence Zeisman and husband Paul; Pete Carpenter and wife Debra; Louis Carpenter; ex-wife and life partner, Margie Zolnosky and her children, Helen Macey and Don Zolnosky; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Paul was a long-time employee of Bethlehem Steel and was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. He enjoyed watching golf and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Paul was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed golfing at Berkley Hills Golf Course. Above all, Paul loved his family. At Paul’s request there will be no public services. Family would like to thank the staff at Arbutus and Windber Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Paul.
