Obituary

Kellar, Robert E., 88, passed away on March 24, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, in Johnstown, PA, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 19, 1929 in Johnstown. A graduate of Dale High School, and a Korean War Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bertha Kellar; brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Donald, and William Kellar. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis (Price) Kellar; son, Eric C. Kellar, Tampa, FL; daughter, Eve C. Kellar, Pittsburgh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bob retired from Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a machinist. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and lover of dogs. Bob will be sadly missed by his wife and family, and his constant companion, his dog, Manny. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Pastor Matt Williams, officiating.
