Obituary

Ruth A. (Stephens) Felix-Gobin, 85, Johnstown, passed away February 25, 2024. Born August 20, 1938 to the late Benjamin and Florence (Jones) Stephens. Preceded in death by first husband, Duane Felix; second husband, Richard Gobin; and sister, Betty Jane Sankey. Survived by Sons, Jim Felix (Ronna) and Brian Felix (Robin); granddaughters, Lauren (Zach) Burchfield and Shannon Felix; and great granddaughter, Olivia Bodnar. Ruth was a program coordinator for Cambria Alleghney Highway Safety. She also was a member of Calvary Methodist Church and the membership secretary of Demolay Mother’s Club. She enjoyed painting ceramics and had a love for politics. Family and friends will be received Thursday February 29, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hindman Funeral Home, 146 Chandler Ave. Johnstown, PA 15906. A service will be held Friday March 1, 2024 at 11:00 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 159 Chandler Ave. Johnstown, PA 15906. Pastor Dave Bunnell, officiating.
