Obituary

Goss, Scott O., 60, of Johnstown, PA, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2024. Born March 10, 1963, son of the late Marvin H. and Janet A. (Brown) Goss, and brother, Dale and Regina Goss. Survived by life long girlfriend, Beth Garbinski; step-grandsons, Dylan and Dominic Palmatier of Johnstown; brothers, Kim A. and Dorothy Goss of Nebo, NC and Clyde (Buddy) and Brenda Goss of Virginia Beach, VA; nephew, Brandon; and nieces, Nicole and Kaylan. Scott served in the Army National Guard of PA. He was an openhearted and arms kind of guy, always there when needed, but it also wouldn’t be a lie if we failed to mention he was hard headed. He had a love for his blood hound, Doc, who passed away in March of 2023. Scott enjoyed helping others and enjoyed the outdoors. Everyone on the hill will miss him. The family will be having a ceremony at Oak Cemetery on July 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at Johnstown Inn at 4 p.m..
