Obituary

King, William E. Jr., 84, 343 Theatre Dr, Johnstown, PA 15904, went to be with the Lord Jan 1, 2021 at his son Brian’s home.  Born Jan 9, 1936 in Johnstown, son of late William and Lucy (Berg) King. Married to the late Wanda (Weaverling) for 27 years.  Preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Larry.  Survived by sons; David Rodger, Boise, ID; and Brian Edward, Johnstown, PA; and daughter; Lisa Ann (White), Tyler, TX.  Bill is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Heather Snell of Johnstown, PA; Ashley, Mathew, and Mark all of Boise, ID; and 3 great-grandchildren: Laurel, Aria, and Scarlett.  He was of Christian faith, having attended Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren and Emmanuel Church.  He was a graduate of Johnstown High School.  He earned his degree in Machine Science at LeTourneau Technical Inst. Bill enjoyed attending local social events and dancing, especially, with his close friend of 14 yrs Sandra Macey.  At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. Cremains will be interred at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Windber Hospice.
