Obituary

Shaw, David Willard, 81, Ebensburg, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012.
Born September 5, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a son of the late Cyrus and Alice (Tressler) Shaw. He is preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Survived by his children, Eric Shaw, Patton, Melissa Coover (Robert), Hastings, Christine Duman (Michael), Hastings, and Margaret Smolko (Robert), St. Lawrence, PA, former wife Betty Shaw, Patton, brother, Charles Shaw and sister Anna Ruth Armstrong, both of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by his special friend of many years Olga Guida, Hooversville, PA.

Mr. Shaw was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He taught school for the Greater Johnstown Vo-tech and was also a computer programmer. He belonged to the Hooversville VFW.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at the Turner Apartments Social Room, Ebensburg on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. Burial at Union Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
