Matolyak, Alice J., 89, Johnstown, died Dec. 11, 2015 at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. Born Oct. 9, 1926, Johnstown, to the late Matthew and Jenny (Odouch) Pejack. Preceded in by death by her husband, Joseph Matolyak, 12 brothers, and a sister. Survived by her sons, Gary Matolyak and wife Patti, Saylorsburg; Ron Matolyak and wife Kathleen, Bedford; and grandson, Shane Matolyak and wife Connie, Montana. Alice enjoyed the slow pace of Johnstown, swimming at the YMCA, and especially Thursday “Hooked on Crochet” at Johnstown Library. At the request of the family, there will be no services. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
