Elka, Anna Mary (Mesaros), 68, Johnstown, Pa, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on May 24, 2017. Anna was born in Johnstown, Pa, on May 25, 1948. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1966 before attending the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Anna and her husband Richard Elka were married for over 30 years and for the past 20 years have resided in Blair and Cambria counties. Since 2013 they have been residents of The Village at Nanty Glo, Johnstown, Pa. In addition to her husband, Anna is lovingly remembered by six brothers, James R. Mesaros of Hooversville, Pa; John H. Mesaros and wife Josephina of Gainesville, Fl; Kenneth C. Mesaros and wife Eleanor of Elyria, Oh; Robert A. Mesaros and wife Catherine of West Chester, Pa; George W. Mesaros and wife Kathryn of Dayton, Oh; and Richard L. Mesaros and wife Carol of Savannah, Ga; sister, Elizabeth McNulty and husband Daniel of Surprise, AZ; 18 nieces and nephews; and numerous loving relatives and friends. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, John Mesaros, Jr. and Dorothy Mae (Hauser) Mesaros; brother Leonard R. Mesaros and his wife Sandra of West Haven, CT; and sister-in-law Sharon Mesaros. Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later date with interment at the convenience of the family.
