Matula, Brian M. “Scooby”, 33, Johnstown, passed away on July 31, 2020, after a long battle with ALS. Born January 14, 1987 in Johnstown, son of Jeffrey M. and Stacey (Gilpatrick) Matula. Preceded in death by his grandparents, his sister, Precious Anne. Survived by loving parents; siblings, Jeffrey Jr., James, Shawn, Josphat, Mason, Mike, Cheyene and Carl; niece, Marlee; nephews, Landon and Shawn Jr. “Baby Shark”; his special friend, Coty Melendez; as well as numerous other members of extended family; and his dog, “Bully”. Brian graduated from Greater Johnstown HS class of 2006. He enjoyed Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, Playstation, going to camp, fishing, reading, watching WWE wrestling, and was a member of West Shawnee Corporation. The family wants to thank,Sharlene Niper & Kenny Goff and LeAnne Bracken for all of their loving care for Brian, as well as the ALS Chapter of Pittsburgh, and Laurel Medical. Family and Friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday at 11 AM at Hindman Funeral Home, 1521 Frankstown Road.
