Obituary

Hetz, Catherine, 94, Johnstown, passed away January 20, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 24, 1927. Daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Langham) Webb. Preceded in death by loving husband, Kenneth W. Hetz Sr.; brothers, Harry, Bernard, and Earl Webb; sister, Natalie “Peggy” Reynolds. Survived by son, Kenneth Hetz Jr. (Prudence), Johnstown; daughter, Kathleen Wallace (Dan), Johnstown; grandchildren, Prudy Hindman (Bill) of Johnstown, Alice Hammond (Tony Tanzi) of Altoona, Kenneth Hetz III (Karen) of Johnstown, Nicole Wallace of Hyndman, and Tara Wallace of New Castle; and great grandchildren, Kaylee Swiokla, and Kaitlyn and Kira Hindman, all of Johnstown. Catherine was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church and worked at L & D Candies. She enjoyed spending time with her family first and foremost. She also enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, and watching sports, especially, the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. A special thanks given to caregivers, Joy, Susan, Theresa, Dawna and Nikki. Family and friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc 1521 Frankstown Rd., where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Nancy Hoover officiating. Committal at Grandview Cemetery.
