Bulich, Charles – 83, Conemaugh Township – Johnstown, PA, passed away on October 9, 2018, at home surrounded by family and friends. Born June 5, 1935 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Son of the late Charles and Helen Bulich; step-father John Mizgala. Preceded in death by his parents; his special uncle Michael (Mimi); daughter Christina Bulich Maguire Webster; and grandson Charlie Maguire IV. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Elsie Olga “Ogie” (Daley) Bulich; children, Neil and wife Doris (Sanders) Bulich; Daniel and wife Shelly (Klimek) Bulich; Kathy (Bulich) Piker; Evelyn Maguire; grandchildren, Alex, Ben, Mitch, Emily, Jess, and Andy; great granddaughter Madison (Maddie) Piker; and his best friend Robert (Bob) Smith. Charles was a 1953 graduate of East Conemaugh High School and a 1958 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He was employed by Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 (IU8) for children with Educational Development needs. He was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Westmont. Charles was active in the male chorus, was a member of the Masonic Lodge as a Worshipful Past Master of the Freemasonry, and Jaffa Drum & Bugle Corps with his involvement in the Shriners Parades, and was a member of the U.S Army Reserve and U.S. Air Force. At the request of the family, services will be private. Interment will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In memory of Charles the family requests contributions be given to the American Heart Association or Interim Hospice.
