Instone, Craig, 50, of Johnstown, passed away on April 11, 2024, at Windber Hospice. Born August 30, 1973, son of the late Jack and Doreen (Yeager) Instone. Preceded in death by parents and brother, John Instone. Survived by loving wife, Kristen (Kohan); children, Abigail, Jaclyn, and Sadie Instone; brother, Scott (Paulette); nieces, Nicole and Morgan Flocken (Alex), Katie (Matthew) Heaton; nephews, Collin, Nikolas, and Isaak; mother-in-law, Barbara Kohan; and brother-in-law, Patrick Kohan. Craig was a 1991 graduate of Bishop McCort and 1995 graduate of Juniata College. He was proud to be one of the greatest record holders to play on the basketball courts of Bishop McCort and Juniata College. In his professional life, Craig was a passionate licensed Nursing Home Administrator who found joy in serving others. Craig loved spending time at a simple cottage in Bedford, PA that was built by his grandfather. Above all, he was a proud father who took every opportunity to make others laugh. He will be deeply missed by those in his life and remembered as the beloved husband, father, brother, and friend that he was. Craig will be honored at St. Benedict Church, 2310 Bedford St., Johnstown, on Saturday, April 13th at 12:30 P.M., a procession to St. John’s Cemetery will follow the services.
