Kresko, Daniel Andrew, 94, Davidsville, passed away April 20, 2024, at Laurel View Village. Born July 19, 1929, in Johnstown, to the late Andrew and Anna (Grexa) Krichko. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Lou (Young); daughter, Beth Ann Fahy; sister, MaryAnn; brother, Joseph; and several brothers and sisters in law. Survived by daughters, Deborah Erisman (George); Janeen Nanna (Jeff); Danette Hahl (Brian); son-in-law, John Fahy; brother, Timothy Krichko (Lorraine); sisters-in-law, Vinnie Froehlich; JoAnn Houser; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dan served in the United States Air Force. He attended the First Lutheran Church and St. David’s Lutheran Church and was a member of multiple community organizations. Dan enjoyed restoring antique cars. Our father had the gift of generosity and would help anyone in need, instilling in us to serve others. He had an exceptional work ethic, teaching us not only the value of hard work but also of a job well done. Dan held multiple positions in the Dairy Industry, retiring at the age of 65 as President of the former Sani Dairy. After retirement, he fulfilled his dream of owning a farm, raising birds, goats, and alpacas. To honor our father’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Family would like to thank the many friends (old and new) and family members who faithfully remained in contact with him over the years, especially since the death of our mother. A special “thank you” to the staff at Laurel View and the Windber Hospice team, for their kindness and care for our father. Memorial contributions may be made to the Laurel View Caring Fund, 2000 Cambridge Drive, Davidsville, PA, 15928, or to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963. John 14:6.
