Hohman, David L., 75, Johnstown, passed away January 12, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 30, 1945 to the late John and Grace (Lee) Hohman. Preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Jim, and Bob; mother-in-law, Ethel (Bagos) Pavlik; niece Lynn Hohman; and brother-in-law, Gregg DeSchepper. Survived by wife of 51 years, Sally (Bagos) Hohman; children, David Hohman Jr. (Claudine Teeter); Stacey Madison (Brian); grandchildren, Grace and Ty Hohman and their mother Cheryl Hohman; Sydney Madison; brother, Tom Hohman (Jo Arlene); and sisters-in-law, Carol and Marguerite Bagos; and Terrie DeSchepper. Dave was a graduate of Johnstown High School, class of 1964. He was veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the American Legion Post 0294, and a member of VFW Post 155. Dave was employed by Bethlehem Steel for 30 years and then MerVac Plumbing and Heating for 15 years. He was the president of the Austrian Hall, an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing softball. Military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday January 23 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave’s memory to CORE, 204 Sigma Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15238 or the family.
