Obituary

Teeter, Dolores A. (Burkhart), 89, Johnstown, died May 27, 2018. Born January 25, 1929 to the late Leroy and Frances (Broad) Burkhart. Preceded in death by husband, Carl H. Teeter “Junior” and grandson, Carl H. Teeter IV “Bud”. Survived by sons, Carl H. Teeter III (Denise); John E. Teeter Sr. (Cheryl), both of Johnstown; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and siblings, Jenny Blank; and Eugene Burkhart. Dolores was a loving mother and grandmother whose joy in life was her family. She loved doing word search puzzles and watching her favorite TV show, MASH. Special thanks to her caregivers, Cheryl Teeter, Mary Crowder, and the staff of Windber Hospice. At Dolores’ request, there will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windber Hospice.
