Stager, Dorothy M, 96, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord February 8, 2017 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born January 15, 1921, Johnstown, daughter of the late William and Mildred (O’Connor) Wisor. Preceded in death by her son, Robert Stager; daughter, Mary Patricia McElheny; sister, Malissa Jane Wisor; brother, Robert Wisor; and grandson, Andrew Stager, Jr. Survived by her son, Andrew Stager, Sr. and wife, Barbara, Johnstown; step-sons, Samuel Kaplitz and wife, Barbara, Johnstown; and Jason Kaplitz, Boswell; grandchildren, Russell, Joseph, Greta, Ava, Michele, Missy, Mara, Lisa, and Jessica; 8 great-granchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. At the family’s request, services will be held privately with The Rev Douglas R. Blakelock, officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s in Dorothy’s honor.
