Dorothy R. Born, 90, of Hastings, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Born July 20, 1932, in Hastings; a daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Link) Born. Also preceded in death by sister, Nancy Gray and husband Harry; brother-in-law, James Kirsch; sister-in-law, Judy Born. Survived by sisters, Mary Louise Kirsch, Nicktown, Anna Born, Hastings; brothers, Edward Born and wife, Ruth, Hastings, Walter Born, Saint Boniface; many nieces and nephews. Dorothy worked at the Van Heusen Shirt Factory for many years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She was a devoted loving sister, aunt and Godmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and having children in her home. She was hardworking and full of faith. Family and friends will be received Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 2 to 6  p.m., Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. Mass will be held Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 11 a.m., St. Bernard Catholic Church, Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, celebrant. Viewing one hour prior at the church. Burial at St. Bernard Cemetery.
