Clark, Edward James, 89, Johnstown, formerly of Minersville, died Saturday July 12, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center.
Born January 20, 1925 in Johnstown; he was a son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Lavely) Clark. He was also preceded in death by brothers, David and Bernard Clark.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen M. (Calafiore) Clark, whom he married June 6, 1946; a daughter, Paulette Heiser and husband David of Pittsburgh, PA; a grandson, Scott Heiser and wife Tiffany of Poquoson, VA; three great granddaughters, Ava, Gwynith and Elsa Heiser; a brother, Richard Clark of New Hope PA; and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Clark was an engineer for the Conemaugh and Black Lick Railroad. He was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral and the former St. Columba’s Church; a life member of The Menoher VFW Post 155 and Minersville PNA. Mr. Clark served in the US Navy during WWII.
There will be no viewing.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 26 at 10am at St. John’s Gualbert Cathedral.
