Obituary

Witkosky, Edward T. “Remo”, 63, Johnstown, died June 28, 2015 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born October 26, 1951 to the late Paul and Virginia (Utzler) Witkosky. Preceded in death by brother, Larry Witkosky. Survived by siblings, Paul (Patricia), WV; Mary Jo Sylvester, WI; Judy Paul, (Dennis), NJ; William (Mary), WV; Deborah Laughrey, (Leo), Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Julie Witkosky; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bobby Bayush; Kathy Karmanocky; Cliff Baily; and Craig and Danelle Hollern. Edward graduated from Conemaugh Valley High School and enjoyed sports. Friends will be received Wed. July 1 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., where a service will be held Thurs. July 2 at 11 a.m., Celebration of Life Director, Wayne Ayer, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cancer Society. A special thanks to the Conemaugh Hospital Palliative Care Unit and staff at LaurelWood for the care they gave Edward.
