Craver, Glenn P. – 83, Northern Cambria, passed away peacefully Friday, September 13, 2019, at his home. Born May 27, 1936, son of the late Herbert W. and Martha B. (Price) Craver. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Marjorie Linden, and his brother Roger Craver. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley M. (Lecorchick) Craver; his step-son, Kevin C. Morgan (Shari), Enola, PA; step-daughter Shelly Ann Bower (Peter), Jersey Shore, PA; step-daughter, Linda Lee Lowe (Herbert), Harrisburg, PA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-children; his sister, Carol Lanningham, Bakersfield, CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family & friends.  Glenn was a 1954 graduate of Barnesboro High School. He was a member of the 1952 Red Dragons undefeated football team, for which he was placed in the Northern Cambria Hall of Fame in 2013. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a BS in Chemistry in 1958, and then graduated from Michigan State University with a MA in Inorganic Chemistry in 1963. Glenn was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served our country from 1961-1965. He was retired from the State of Pennsylvania where he was employed as a Chemist. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed bowhunting, and skiing. He was a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the AFSME Local #2456, he was also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at Michigan State University. Interment will take place on October 12, 2019 at 11 AM at St. John’s Cemetery, Northern Cambria, PA.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Glenn to the James E. Van Zandt VA Hospital, 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602, or to the Visiting Nurse Association, 850 Hospital Rd.
