Obituary

Saitta, Gloria Eleanor (Rheel), 88, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord January 3, 2019 at her home. Born October 24, 1930 to the late Lloyd and Anna (Pekera) Rheel. Preceded in death by sons, Dennis Zitto; Robert Saitta; brother, Ray Rheel; and brothers and sisters in-law, Ruthann Rheel; Tom Kohler; Sam and Edna Saitta; Joe Saitta; and Frankie Saitta. Survived by daughter, Barbara Ann Saitta; siblings, Dot Smith, Johnstown; Bob Rheel, Pottstown; Claudette Bottiecher (Meade); Carol Rheel; Pat Kohler; Diane Spengler, all of Johnstown; John Rheel (Debbie), Washington, PA; Evelyn Kassander (Jim), Johnstown; sister-in-law, Sandy Rheel; grandchildren, Rachel, Robert Jr., Ryan, Vinnie, Tony, and Dennis Jr.; and great grandchildren, Mia, Olivia, Marina, Makenna, Vinny Jr., Madden, and Broklyn. Gloria was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed watching soap operas. Special thank you to sisters Pat and Evie for taking care of Gloria for 7 plus years, Brenda Clawson and Cookie Martin, and Gloria’s church friends, Helen Bixel, Debbie Mayer, Corrine Schmidt, and Dorothy Rice for making sure she always had a ride home from church. “Dear Gloria, you don’t have to shed anymore tears, you’re at peace now.
