Jacoby, Edward J., 65, Cover Hill, passed away on December 8, 2022, peacefully with Susie by his side. Born December 9, 1956, in Johnstown, to the late Alvin and Gertrude (Guillarmod) Jacoby.  Preceded in death by his extended family, Frank and Betty Brezensky. Survived by life-long partner, Susie Johns and family; Rick & Lynn Brezensky; Brenda Lawhead & Mike Hamacek; Frank & Karen Brezensky; Jadelynn, Aliviah, Liam, Nathan, Chrissy, Amy, Rockford, Madison, and Kyndra; and his “phone buddies” who kept him company in the last couple of years – Bill, Albert, John Boy, and Tony. Ed was a 1974 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School.  He was an owner/operator truck driver for over 45 years.  He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, keeping the yard looking beautiful, being with his family, and hanging out with friends. Ed will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him – especially his loud raspy voice when cheering for (or yelling at) the Pittsburgh Steelers…. our home will be so quiet now. There will be no viewing. A celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date at “This is It,” along with a committal at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cover Hill Fire Company on Ed’s behalf.
