Obituary

Stiffler, James L., 76, Hollsopple, died December 8, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 15, 1942 to the late Harry and Gladys (East) Stiffler. Survived by beloved wife of 54 years, Carol Ann Stiffler; sons, David (Alayna); Scott (Victor); beloved granddaughters, Carol (Bob) Benoit; Ellyn and Sandra; beloved great-granddaughter, Eloise Claire; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends, especially his poker buddies. Jim was a very active member of Tire Hill Church of the Brethren. He was happiest working at the church, cutting grass and enjoyed his garden. Jim and Carol had a rich marriage, filled with love and laughter. His happy demeanor and willingness to help anyone who asked will be greatly missed. At Jim’s request, there will be no viewing. Friends will be received December 22 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Tire Hill Church of the Brethren; Pastor Brian Simmons, officiating.
