Veil, James L. – 76, Lake City, PA, passed away on May 6, 2019, at his residence. Born January 24, 1943 in Scalp Level, son of the late Charles and Adeline (Gossar) Veil. Preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Lou Carlson. Survived by Margaret A. (Aird) Veil, his wife of 51 years, sons, Richard J. Veil and wife, Robbyn, Annapolis, MD; and Scott D. Veil and wife, Jennifer, Greensboro, MD; grandchildren, Shelby, Joe, and Jake Veil; brother Bob Veil and wife, Grace, Hagerstown, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. James served in the United States Air Force and retired from AT&T where he had worked as a technician, and as a supervisor.
