Snyder, John W., 80, Jackson Twp., died Nov. 8, 2016 at Good Samaritan Palliative Care Unit after a very lengthy illness. Born Nov. 20, 1935 to the late Merle R. and Catherine A. (Surmick) Snyder. Preceded in death by sister, Barbara Klimeck and brother, Thomas Snyder. Survived by loving wife, Annie (Zadik) Snyder; daughter, Deborah A. Morgan, FL; granddaughter, Brigitte (Leckey) married to Steve Wilson, South Fork; grandson, Ryan Leckey, Scranton; and great granddaughters, Skyler and Brittany Wilson. John retired from Bethlehem Steel Metallurgical Department and later worked for Republic Technologies. He was also a member of St. John Vianney Church. At John’s request, there will be no services.
