Miller, Katherine Ann, 69, Mineral Point, passed away July 1, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born December 22, 1949 in Johnstown, daughter of the late James Michael and Mary Evelyn (Haney) Ward. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Mary Robertson (Donald). She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William A. Miller; her children, Mary Mazur (Ken), Pittsburgh; Bill Miller, Pittsburgh; David Miller (Jennifer), Ebensburg; Dawn Miller, Dover, DE; Kelly Schilling (Jeremy), Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Anna, Kaitlyn, Ben, Kevin, Allison, Kari, Jason, Jeremy, Jase, Logan, and Sawyer; her brother, Jim Ward (Carol), Patton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Katherine took pride in being a devoted wife, a loving mother, and “Nanny”. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Katherine was a loving and generous person and instilled the importance of family to both generations. She liked to travel, especially with family. She absolutely adored animals, especially birds. At Katherine’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Katherine to the National Aviary, 700 Arch St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.  She will be sorely missed and forever loved.
