Pearce, Kathryn M., 88, Johnstown. Died peacefully August 7, 2014 at home. Born June 15, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Karl and Anna (Roth) Ludwig. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer, grandson Kristopher Pearce, sister Sue Petrusic, brother John Ludwig and two stepsons Raymond and William Pearce. She is survived by her son Robert (Clara) Pearce, Johnstown; daughter Kathy (Hans) Pearce-Mueller, Grove City, OH; son Paul Pearce, Johnstown; daughter Carol Jean (Tom) May, Johnstown; daughter Linda (Keith Croyle) Pearce, Johnstown; and son David (Monica) Pearce, Johnstown; grandsons, Nathan, Benton, and Thomas Pearce; her sisters Martha Anderson, Nan Weaver, Theresa Fleck, and Carrie Smith; brothers Fred, Pete, and Tom Ludwig. Kathryn was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She retired from Troy Laundry. She enjoyed gardening, stitching, sewing, and cleaning, but most important she loved her family. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 6pm at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Johnstown. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10am at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 14 Chandler Ave., Pastor Wendy Henderson officiating.
