Obituary

Feist, Leo James, 60, Nanty Glo, passed away May 5, 2024. Born October 23, 1963, to the late Thomas M. and Catherine (Chockran) Feist. Survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Traci (McCune) Feist. Also survived by his brother, Joseph M. Feist; sisters-in-law, Jodi Feist and Kelly McCune (long-time partner, Bill Byers); special niece, Samantha; and special nephews, Gavin, Ben, Shane, and Willy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Leo was an elite collegiate athlete from 1981-1985, ranked top 10 for wrestling at UPJ. He enjoyed walking through nature, primarily at Hinkston Run Dam Road, viewing wildlife and spending time with his wife, Traci. He was an accomplished golfer and possessed extensive knowledge of the game. He had a 38-year career in pipeline construction, as a manager. Leo will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends, Saturday May 11th, 2024, from 1P.M. till the time of memorial service at 3P.M. at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902.
