SRAL Linda A., 68, Portage, died July 27, 2014, at her residence. Born Nov. 20, 1945, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Henry and Marjorie (Scanlan) Beba. Preceded in death by her husband, Francis, Sr.; a grandson, Matthew; and a brother, John Beba. Survived by her children, Donald (Debbie), Hampton, S.C.; Christine (Anthony) Scarton, Lilly; Francis, Jr. (Tammy), Mineral Point; and Mary Lou (John) Moschgat, Cresson; 7 grandchildren: Nicole, Taylor, Rachel, Luke, Trinity, Tyler, and Alison; four siblings, Henry Beba, Slidell, LA; Wanda Farren, Portage; Winifred Fels, Summerhill; and Cindy Brummert, South Fork;. Linda was a member of the Portage Senior Activity Center and enjoyed playing BINGO and Pinochle with her friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were her reason for life. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Thursday at the Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene, 1006 Rowena Dr., Ebensburg.
