Hunter, Mary Jane, 88, Salix, passed on May 22, 2022. Born on September 25, 1933, to the late William and Helen (Showinsky) Ohler. Also preceded in death by husband Donald Hunter whom she was married to for 61 years; daughters, Patricia, Carolyn, and Connie; brothers, William and George Ohler; sisters, Sadie Malzi, Dolly Walter, and Betty Rusnak; great grandson, Eastin Nagle. Survived by daughters, Linda (Jim) Benning of Windber, and Scotti (Robert) Slowey of Maryland; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and brother Robert (Eleanor) Ohler. Mary and Don loved to travel to the desert in Arizona and to Don’s Navy shipmate reunions. Mary loved bingo, knitting, crafting, puzzles and playing games on her iPad. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. There will be a visitation held at Rummel Church of the Brethren in Windber on Friday May 27th from 10:30-11:00 with a memorial service following from 11:00-12:00 .
