Stoner, Mary, 90, Johnstown, died December 10, 2014 at Laurelwood Care Center.  Born February 19, 1924, in Johnstown; she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Machto) Gallo.  She was also preceded in death by sisters, Sue Germek, Irene Robb, Margaret Gallo; a brother, Joe Gallo.  Survived by husband of 67 years, Donald Stoner; a daughter, Cathy Ann Hine; sons, Don (Janice) Stoner, Gary (Debbie) Stoner; grandchildren, Amy, Christopher, Natalie, Jennifer, Joel, Rose, and Ana; great grandchildren, Rebecca, Michael, Dalen, Maryanna, Christian, and Oliver; sisters, Ann Sotak and Yolanda Haywood; brother, John Gallo; many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Stoner was a seamstress at many sewing factories in the Johnstown area.  Member of Memorial Baptist Church.  She liked to travel.  She visited 48 states and drove the Alcan Highway to Alaska.  She liked to sew and cook.  At Christmas time she baked hundreds of cookies that she shared with neighbors and friends.  Friends will be received Sunday, Dec. 14 from 2-6 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Chandler Ave, where funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 15 at 10 a.m.  Committal Benshoff Hill Cemetery.   Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Exclusive provider of “Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
