Tomak, Nancy L., 81, Johnstown, passed away June 12, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 13, 1941, to the late Henry and Bertha (Lee) Meier. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William, who passed on August 21, 2021; son-in-law Doug Golias; 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Nancy was the last surviving member of her family.   She is survived by children, Diana (George) Whaley, Edward (Lisa) Tomak, Mark (Mary Jo) Tomak, Monica (Tom) Lempertz, Ronald Tomak, Tina Golias, Michele (Bill) Petry, Teresa ( Gary) Knight; very good family friend, Tom Lewis; grandchildren, Justin, Kaylee, Angela, Lucas, Desarae, Heather, Annalee, Aaron, Shannon, Jocelyn, and Andrew; great grandchildren, Kyra, Jaxsen, Nolan, and one on the way.  She is also survived by special niece, Elsie;  several nieces, nephews and friends.  As a teen, she worked at Mulkey’s Restaurant where she met William. They were married on June 8, 1957.  Nancy was a homemaker, raising 8 children and then helping to raise her grandchildren.  We could not have asked for a better Mom or Grandma.   She was happiest spending time with her family.  She loved playing cards, which she often won,  and playing bingo at the Township building.   She was a member of the Resurrection Church and a former member of Middle Taylor Township Citizen’s Group. At Nancy’s request there will be no viewing or public service.
